We are a Washington-based custom sign shop, serving the Pacific and Inland Northwest. With a blend of strategic thinking and creative flair, we specialize in transforming your ideas into vibrant realities.

Our Story

Owner Chris Gridley embarked on his professional journey in the fuel industry, overseeing the installation of new fuel tanks. After a decade of honing his skills, Chris decided to pivot and delve into the sign business. With 35 cents found in his car, he took a leap of faith, dialing a payphone to connect with a sign supply company. To his delight, he secured approval for the acquisition of a vinyl plotter/cutter machine and hit the ground running from there.

Initially, the business primarily focused on manufacturing and installing vinyl on vehicles.. Throughout the years, the business has grown to include the manufacturing and installation of electrical signs and now includes fuel image install and service.

Since its establishment in 1998, Grid Mark Signs has experienced steady growth, culminating in a relocation from a modest converted house to a more spacious facility in 2020. This move has significantly enhanced our capacity to service our clients. With our main office in Spokane, Washington, we have broadened our reach to serve clients in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, with plans underway for expansion into Oregon.

At Grid Mark Signs, we take pride in our commitment to the Spokane community. We proudly support initiatives like the Salvation Army’s Backpacks for Kids program, the Shriners, Jensen Youth Ranch, Hoopfest Courts for Kids, FFA, 4H, and the Spokane Cattlemen’s Association.
